That’s we why are so proud to be partnering with the New Jersey Police
Athletic League,
a respected organization with a focus on our “greatest natural resource” – our
children.
The Police Athletic League is a recreation oriented juvenile crime prevention
program that fosters
the bond between police officers and kids through athletics and recreation programs.
PAL programs brings youngsters under the supervision and constructive influence
of a
responsible law enforcement agency and expands awareness about the role of a
police officer.
Studies show that if a youngster responds to a police officer in a positive way
on the ballfield or in
the classroom, he or she will very likely come to respect the laws that a police
officer enforces.
Through their positive activities and messages to avoid gangs, drugs and alcohol,
youth programs like PAL have significantly contributed to the reduction of delinquency
in our communities.
Like Carecycle, PAL believes that the education and awareness of our children
is a key to
responsible adulthood and citizenship. By instilling respect for the law, the
community and
our world right now, kids are poised to be adults that will create a better world
in the years to come.
